Making coffee

Michael and I are all about making coffee these days. We use a Bodum and beans from Habit or Discovery Coffee. I've been scared of making my own coffee for years, and I'm so happy that I've conquered this simple ritual.

Me too buds! Marriage and a pink Bodum seem to have fixed all my coffee-making woes. Although I'm currently off coffee and on earl grey tea.

try the stove-top espresso maker! a little higher on the intimidation scale, but once you master it, you'll never look back.
use a nice dark (non-espresso) blend, add some hot water to your cup and: deliciousness.

Great photo, Erin! Very atmospheric. My number one concern with coffee is heat - it must almost burn my tongue with every sip. And I like a few cups so with a bodum the coffee has cooled off by the time I finish the pot. So I like a drip coffee maker, or a percolator if there is a group of people. A neat craft idea I saw somewhere was a little jacket for your bodum; that might solve my cool coffee problems.
